As UX lead designer, you will be part of a team that creates innovative industrial products for Industry 4.0 in close cooperation with designers, ergonomists, developers and product managers. You will lead our most complex user experience projects and initiatives and mentor UX/UI designers, ensuring a consistent usage of design language in the team and in other development units around the world.
Together with the team, you will develop processes that increase effectiveness of UX design in our organization and communicate to stakeholders a customer value approach to design. You will plan and coordinate design activities/deliverables together with project managers and lead design reviews with the UI/UX team.
The Industrial Design and Human factors office is an internationally awarded specialist competence team with global responsibility for industrial design, ergonomics, UX design and surface design within the Atlas Copco Industrial Technique Business Area. We work in close collaboration with developing units in Sweden, Italy, Germany, UK and the US. The position is situated at HQ in Nacka (Stockholm) and includes travelling, about 10-14 days per year.

- More than 7 years hands-on experience in UX design
- Documented experience in concept creation, wireframing, testing and customer journey mapping
- Documented experience in design research methods
- Knowledge and/or experience from resources such as design systems and repositories
- Experience in programs such as Adobe CS and in various prototyping tools
It is a plus if you have experience from designing embedded interfaces in industrial products, impact and process mapping; lean and agile methology, as well as from a team leader role.
You have a Master’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, Information Sciences, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
You have a team player approach to problem solving and can shift gears quickly. With a pragmatic sense of design, you have the ability to make complex things simple by genuinely understanding the problem.
